Subly+ — Privacy Policy

Subly+ does not collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive data. Everything the app does happens locally on your device.

In short: no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no network requests. Subly+ has no servers and never sends your data anywhere.

1Data we collect

None. Subly+ does not collect any personal information. It has no sign-in, no user accounts, and includes no advertising or analytics SDKs. The app does not access the internet to transmit data.

2Permissions and how they are used

Subtitle files (.srt): When you choose a subtitle file, Subly+ reads it directly from your device to display it. The file is processed on your device only and is never uploaded or shared.
Accessibility service: Subly+ uses Android's Accessibility API for a single purpose — to read the video player's on-screen position bar (the current playback time) so your subtitles stay in sync. It does not read screen content, keystrokes, or personal information, and it does not collect, store, or share any data. You must explicitly enable it, and you can turn it off at any time.
Display over other apps (overlay): Used to draw the subtitle text and the control button on top of your video.
Foreground service & notification: Keeps the subtitle overlay running while you watch and shows an ongoing notification so you always know it is active.

3Data storage

Your preferences — such as the last subtitle you used, per-file timing offsets, and overlay appearance settings — are stored only on your device using local app storage. Uninstalling the app removes them. Nothing is stored on any server.

4Data sharing

Subly+ does not share any data with third parties, because it does not collect or transmit any data in the first place.

5Children

Subly+ does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children. It contains no ads and no data collection.

6Content and streaming services

Subly+ never accesses a video stream, DRM, or any protected content. It only reads the player's position value to keep your own subtitle file in sync and draws its own text on top. Subly+ is an independent, unofficial tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Netflix or any other streaming service.

7Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.

Ön plan hizmeti ve bildirim: İzlerken overlay'i çalışır tutar ve aktif olduğunu gösteren kalıcı bir bildirim gösterir.

3Veri saklama

Tercihlerin (son kullanılan altyazı, dosya bazlı zaman kaydırması, overlay görünüm ayarları) yalnızca cihazında yerel olarak saklanır. Uygulamayı kaldırınca silinirler. Hiçbir sunucuda tutulmaz.

4Veri paylaşımı

Subly+ hiçbir veriyi üçüncü taraflarla paylaşmaz; çünkü zaten hiçbir veri toplamaz veya iletmez.

5İçerik ve yayın servisleri

Subly+ video akışına, DRM'e veya korunan içeriğe asla erişmez; yalnızca oynatıcının konum değerini okuyup kendi altyazı dosyanı senkron tutar. Subly+ bağımsız, resmi olmayan bir araçtır; Netflix veya başka bir yayın servisiyle bağlı ya da onlar tarafından onaylanmış değildir.
